This cold and snowy winter makes us wonder if anything will ever grow again in our region? But it will!
We look forward to the amazing flavors and colors of our upcoming vegetable and fruit season! Our Produce Share is a great way to enjoy freshness, variety, convenience and cost savings.
The share combines both vegetables and fruits in 20 weekly pick-ups and offers a full or partial size option. Share pick-ups start in June (specific date to be determined) and continue through the end of October. Choice of pick-up day is either Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 8am to 6pm.
The produce is a mix of conventional, low spray, no spray and when possible, organic vegetables and fruits. Many of the farmers follow Cornell's IPM guidelines. IPM or Integrated Pest Management promotes safe, least-toxic solutions to minimize insects, plant diseases, weeds, and pesticide problems.
Emails are sent out weekly informing you of that week's produce, including farm source, interesting produce information and recipes.
A 50% deposit is due to reserve your share, with the final balance due May 15. Please stop by or call us with any questions. You can also mail your form to us with your deposit or sign-up easily through our website.
