    Seafood Chowder from Ina Garten

A new fish for us this week – Monkfish (aka “Poor Man’s Lobster”), fished from New Bedford, MA – America’s largest fishing port. According to our Sea to Table connection, “They aren’t the prettiest fish, but they are pretty tasty, with mild meat that has a texture similar to lobster”. Delicious in seafood chowder, simply baked or with tomato sauces.

All great options for a January weekend!

    Monkfish – $19.50 per lb.
    (approx. 1 lb. fillets)

    Try these!
    Mustard-Roasted Fish
    Seafood Chowder from Ina Garten
    Monkfish in Tomato-Garlic Sauce
