We have put together a Mini Meat Box filled with delicious local chicken, pork, turkey and seafood for this round. We love our beef from Plato Dale Farm, but due to lack of local processing availability, we couldn’t include their beef this time.
We’ve added a few new items to try that we would like to carry in the store … Canadian Bacon, Murray’s Chicken Tenders, Sea to Table Swordfish and our own housemade sausage. It’s a great mix for delicious meals this fall!
Red Gate Grocer out of Ithaca offers quality meats from small, local farmers. Their sliced bacon and Canadian bacon are uncured with no nitrates or nitrites.
Minimally processed, without the use of preservatives or other artificial ingredients, Murray’s Certified Humane Chicken is raised without the use of antibiotics, growth drugs or hormones. Murray’s chickens have plenty of access to fresh air and sunlight.
Our breakfast sausage is made in house, by John Kudla from Avenue Boys Sausage, using local ground pork with no hormones or antibiotics. Ground turkey is from Stonewood Farm – all natural, no hormones or antibiotics.
The wild, sustainably caught swordfish is from Fort Pierce, FL provided by Sea to Table. The swordfish is IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) and vacuum packed.
