Kimchi Making Class
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 21
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
We have a few last minute openings for our Kimchi Class tomorrow night!
Kimchi is a traditional fermented Korean dish made with vegetables and seasonings. Fermented foods are necessary to help maintain the balance of bacteria in our GI systems. According to our instructor, Jessica Meyers Altman, plant-based chef and nutritionist, “Our bodies need healthy levels of bacteria. The current American diet destroys the balance of these microbes, throwing our systems out of whack.”
We will be making Jessica’s recipe of Ginger Carrot Daikon Kimchi. Everything you need will be provided. Just bring an apron, and you’ll go home with your own jar of Kimchi, and a better understanding of the importance of fermented foods in our diets!
Cost is $20.00
Only a few spots available, so sign up now! Stop in, give us a call at 633-2830 or email us at info@farmersandartisans.com.
