As we look out the window, it’s hard to believe that in 5 months we’ll be eating red juicy strawberries and fresh green peas. We are enjoying the winter’s rest, but look forward to the flavors and colors of the upcoming produce season! Our produce shares offer a great variety of local fresh picked produce. Share pick ups start in June (date to be determined) and continue through early November (22 weeks).
This produce share combines both vegetables and fruits in the weekly pick-ups, and offers a full or partial size option.
Emails are sent out weekly informing you of that week’s produce, including farm source, interesting produce information and recipes.
The produce is a mix of conventional, low spray, no spray and when possible, organic vegetables and fruits. Many of the farmers follow Cornell’s IPM guidelines. IPM or Integrated Pest Management promotes safe, least-toxic solutions to minimize insects, plant diseases, weeds, and pesticide problems.
Choice of pick up day is either Tuesdays or Thursdays, from 7 am to 7 pm. Flower pick up this season will be Tuesdays only. (Note: We will be capping the Tuesday pick-up, so be sure to select your day soon!)
A 50% deposit is due to reserve your share, with the final balance due by May 15th. Please stop by or call us with any questions. You can also mail your form to us with your deposit or sign-up easily through our website.
